  A long ago favorite found today at a used book store. And shockingly, there’s still a few films I haven’t seen.

  I want to live in the sunny California interiors of the movie Beginners with its great textiles and frumpy looking house plants and Polish movie posters.

  It’s also probably the best movie I’ve seen this year and makes a great double feature with L’Amour Fou, also about dealing with the death of a loved one, which is something the movies never get right.
